When can I move in?
If there is a storage space available that meets your specific storage needs, you can move in whenever you like once you have reserved a storage unit.
What do I need to do when I move out?
We do not require a notice to vacate. Simply leave the unit completely empty and remove your padlock. The padlock is your property. Please leave the slide bolt protective piece inside your unit and pull the door down unlocked. A verbal notification to vacate is appreciated but not required.
What type of documentation do I need to provide in order to rent a space?
We will require a government-issued photo ID (example: driver’s license, state ID, or passport).
Do I need to sign a long-term lease?
Mini Max storage rents on a month-to-month basis with billing due on the 1st of the month. We will prorate the month you move in.
How do I make a payment?
You can pay online, mail payment, or stop by and pay at our office during normal business hours. We also have an after hours drop box.
What forms of payments do you accept?
VISA, American Express, MasterCard, Discover, Cash, Check.
How do I know how much storage space I will need?
Our storage experts can assist you with what size unit will meet your needs.
Do I need to bring my own lock?
No. Every new customer receives a newly packaged Disk padlock. This lock is included with your administration fee. You are the only person with the key to your padlock. Mini-Max Storage Company does not keep keys to rented units.
Are there any items that I am NOT able to store?
Liquids, Explosive items, Flammable liquids, Toxic materials of any sort and perishable items. Please ask if you are unsure if you are able to store a particular item with us.
What are the hours of operation?
Our Peoria office is open Monday thru Friday 9:30am to 5pm. Our Washington office is open Monday thru Friday 12Noon to 5pm. Saturdays are by appointment. We are closed on Sundays. However, you have 24 hour access with your gate code.
